Many of us understand that programs and services for our special needs community are often limited. That's why Tania's Place has garnered recognition from School Boards, Community Groups, and political figures, while also being recommended by numerous families for our creative engagement for special needs. Since 2004, we have been providing exceptional community services and have grown to become the largest Durham Region Day Program. Clearly, we are doing something right!
All our programs are strategically designed to promote self-confidence, creativity, friendships, life skills, and a solid sense of community. Each program incorporates at least one of our fundamental philosophies of MIND, BODY & SOUL.
Recognizing that each participant brings unique skills, we customize all individual programs accordingly.
Francie Trajkovski, the founder of Tania's Place, ensures that every offering reflects the high standards she would desire for her own daughter, Tania—after whom the facility is named. This commitment is a key reason for our success.
Our ultimate goal is to ensure our participants are "set up to succeed" rather than "set up to fail" by providing activities that challenge them without discouragement.
